Kindness Matters

Hi, well the weather here just can't make up it's mind we finally get some snow and than it turns to spring the next week! So now it's wet with ice underneath, yuck!! OK on to the stamping! I made this card for a shoebox swap we were doing for our demonstrator meeting. I saw a similar color pattern on a 3-D item and went with it on this card....

I used the Kindness Matters stamp set out of the Sale-A-Bration catty along with the frame embossing folder. The colors used are Pacific Point, Very Vanilla, & Chocolate Chip.  I also antiqued it up a bit!

Matchbox Die

I love little boxes, so when the Matchbox Die came out it was on my wish list. They are fun to decorate and very easy to make. The cuts and folds are all done for you...

I liked how the colors went together.......Bashful Blue, Crumb Cake, and Cherry Cobbler. I used 2 labels that come with the Matchbox Die putting dimensionals in between. Also embossed the front cover with embossing frame. Added the twine and the layered flowers with a tiny rhinestone.
Happy Creating!!

Anniversary Card

This is a card I created. I saw a card similar on YouTube, sorry I can't remember the ladies name, but loved her layout. So I mixed it up a bit to what I had for stamps.

Cherry Cobbler is the background, Chocolate Chip is an accent, and very vanilla. I used the French Foliage stamp set for the cursive writing and the Tiny Tags stamp set. I embossed the back with Vintage Folder, spritzed with Gold Smooch. I punched 6 scalloped tags spritzed with water and I scrumped it up. Than stacked them and punched a hole, added a antique brad. I also used the Cherry Cobbler seam binding ribbon. I also scalloped the edges for the final touch.

This Soot Technique is fun as long as you don't burn down the house, lol!!

You have to use glossy white paper and putting the glossy side against the flame making it black. Than stamping your image down, gets this look. You have to be careful of your fingerprints, and spray it with a crystal acrylic spray. That will seal it so your not tracking soot everywhere. Also took a large brad pressed it in Versa Mark ink, the dipping in Silver Embossing powder to get a guy feel.
This card is one for my Card Club.......enjoy!
